My name is Alanna and I’m currently studying media and broadcasting in Ballyfermot College of Further Education. I thought I’d like to make my first blog about music. I hope people will find it interesting and hopefully factual. I chose music because it tells stories that people can relate to. Without music I don’t think we could ever enjoy life. It’s a great escape !
Music is my ambition and means a lot to me. So I welcome you back to a time were music and society were different. The years I’m focusing on are the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s music. I chose these particular years because not only are these the years that released incredible music but there’s also a great variety of musicians too.
I plan to discuss different bands, singers and maybe add in a movie from that particular decade with lead actors/actresses and the directors of those particular films and some information on those actors/actresses and directors from that particular era.
For my first blog I’m going to start with the 1950’s and build it on from there by including a top hit from that decade and a famous movie released at that time. I’ll get some information about famous bands/singers etc from that period. I hope you all enjoy reading this blog and gain some knowledge. I also hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’m enjoying writing it. Thank you all and I shall see you all in my next post.
