Male Actors From The 1960’s
Good Afternoon all! And welcome back to my Eleventh blog. Today I’m going to be talking about famous actors from the 1960’s. The actors I’m going to be focusing on are Robert Mitchum, Cary Grant and Burt Lancaster.
Robert Mitchum (picture above) was a handsome man in the 1960’s. He was an American Film Actor, Director, Author, Poet, Composer and Singer. He looks a lot like Dean Martin. He was in films such as ‘Home From The Hill’, ‘Five Card Stud’ and ‘Secret Ceremony’. ‘Home From The Hill’ tells a Dramatic story of a Prominent Hunnicutt family set in Texas during the late 1950s.
‘Five Card Stud’ The players who are involved in an ongoing poker game are being mysteriously murdered one individual at a time. ‘Secret Ceremony’ is a psychological Thriller telling the story of a woman who is broke who meets a peculiar girl who demands she is her long-lost mother. This poor woman gets entangled in deceit and insanity.
Cary Grant is an actor and dancer. He starred in pictures such as ‘Charade’ ‘Father Goose’ and ‘That Touch Of Mink’.
‘Charade’ Tells the story of A woman who is in Paris and is being chased by several men which eventually turns into romance and suspense who want substances her murdered husband had stolen from her. But who can she trust?
‘Father Goose’ During world War II a gentleman was made to settle on an isolated island and he spots aircraft. But he then finds himself responsible for several students and a teacher who are all female.
‘That Touch Of Mink’ Contrast occurs when a young woman becomes attracted to a businessman only to find that he wants an affair and she wants marriage.
Burt Lancaster was a famous American actor and producer. He was in movies such as ‘The Unforgiven’, ‘Birdman Of Alcatraz’ and ‘The Scalp hunters’.
‘The Unforgiven’ The neighbours of a partition family turn on them when they think that their adopted daughter was abducted from the local Kiowa Tribe.
‘Birdman Of Alcatraz’ A convicted murderer is kept in permanent isolation until He eventually redeems himself when he becomes a bird expert.
‘The Scalp hunters’ Forced to trade his furs for an educated slave who escaped, a tough huntsman makes a commitment to recover pelts from the Indians and later the betrayers that killed him.
