Female Singers Of The 1980’s
Good evening all! And welcome back to my twentieth blog. Today I’m going to be talking about female singers from the 1980’s. The female singers I’m going to be talking about are ‘Whitney Houston’, ‘Cher’ and ‘Madonna’.
‘Whitney Houston’ (picture above) was an American singer and actress. She was an elegant and a phenomenal singer. She passed away February 11th 2012. She sang songs like ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘How Will I Know’, and ‘Saving All My Love’.
‘Cher’ is an American singer and actress. The media refers her as the
‘Goddess Of Pop’. She recently starred in ‘Mamma Mia Here We Go Again’. She sang songs like ‘Just Like Jesse James’, ‘Heart Of Stone’, and ‘I Found Someone’.
‘Madonna’ Madonna is an American singer-songwriter, businesswoman, and actress. Madonna is known as the ‘Queen Of Pop’. She sang songs like ‘Crazy For you’, ‘Borderline’, and ‘True Blue’.
One of the top hits for the female singers of the 1980’s was ‘Woman In Love’ by Barbara Streisand which spent 3 weeks at no.1 between the 19th October-November 8th 1980.
