Male Singers From The 1970’s
Good morning all! And welcome back to my Fifteenth blog. Today I’m going to be talking about male singers from the 1970’s. The male singers I’m going to be talking about are ‘David Bowie’, ‘Barry White’, and ‘Bob Dylan’.
‘David Bowie’ David Bowie (picture above) was an English Singer, Actor and Songwriter. He had hits like ‘Life on Mars’, ‘Starman’ and ‘Golden Years’. His genre was ‘New Wave’ ‘Glam Rock’ and ‘Rock’. Sadly David Bowie passed away January 10th 2016.
‘Barry White’ Barry White was an American musician, Singer- songwriter, Composer and record producer. He sang songs like ‘You’re The First, The Last, My Everything’, ‘Just The Way You Are’ and ‘Can’t Get Enough Of You Love, Babe’. His genre was ‘Rhythm and Blues’, ‘Funk’, Disco’ and ‘Soul Music’. Sadly he passed away July 4th 2003.
‘Bob Dylan’ Bob Dylan is an American Author, Visual Artist, and Singer-Songwriter. He has been a popular figure for six decades. He had songs like ‘Tangled up In Blue’, ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’, and ‘Forever Young’. His genre is ‘American Folk Music’, ‘Blues’, ‘Rock’, ‘Gospel Music’, ‘Traditional Pop’, and ‘Country Music’.
One of the top hits for the male Singers of the 1970’s were ‘Superstition’ by Stevie Wonder which spent 1 week at No.1 January 27th 1973.
